  • Who will be exhibiting at Footwear & Leather Show Australia?

    Exhibitors from around the world, but primarily from Asia will showcase their finished product, manufacturing, service and design capability.  Exhibitors will include large companies through to SMEs. There is opportunity for Australian and New Zealand buyers focused on volume sourcing and well as start-up companies interested in accessing smaller volumes.

    There is expected to be 300+ exhibitors at the  Footwear & Leather Show and a further 280+ exhibitors at the co-located International Sourcing Expo Australia from countries including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, Mauritius, Turkey, Indonesia, Fiji, New Zealand and more. The co-located China Clothing Textiles Accessories Expo will also have 360+ exhibitors from China. Exhibitors will showcase the latest in footwear, leather accessories, apparel, textiles, accessories, homewares, manufacturing accessories and more.

  • What will be on display at the Footwear & Leather Show Australia?

    Exhibitors will showcase the latest in footwear and leather apparel and accessories.  Visitors can also see apparel, textiles, fashion accessories, home textiles, fabric being showcased at co-located events.

    Visit the Show to discover new suppliers and sourcing opportunities and profit from insights from industry experts at our seminar series.

     

  • Will there be any seminars at Footwear & Leather Show Australia?

    Yes. A major feature of the event is the extensive seminar program which is always strongly attended by visitors. The seminar series is free but pre-registration is essential.  These provide great value-added activities for you to engage in whilst attending the Show.

  • Footwear & Leather Show Australia is a Trade Only Event.

    Entry is restricted to people involved in the footwear, clothing and apparel, textiles, fashion and homewares industries. Business ID may be required upon entry e.g. business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a driver’s licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work for or operate the company used in registration.

    Some examples of who can attend include: wholesalers, importers, suppliers, retail chain stores, private brands, agents, manufacturers and distributors.

    Those not involved in a relevant industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is prohibited. No photography or sketching is permitted. Students will not be registered unless they attend with prior permission of the Organiser and upon registration by the course administrator.

    The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.

  • How much does it cost to visit?

    Entry is free for all bona fide trade visitors. Visitors must work within the apparel and clothing, textiles, fashion and footwear industries. Business identification is required to validate entry.

    The Footwear & Leather Show will run again in 2018 on:

  • Do I need to register to attend as a Visitor?

    Yes, all visitors must register if they want to attend the Show. You may register online or you can register for the Show when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register online. Registrations for 2018 will open closer to the event.

     

  • Can I still attend if I have not pre-registered?

    Yes. You are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter. We recommend you pre-register to avoid any queues. All registrations will require business identification.

  • What do I need to bring as business identification?

    Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN.

  • Can students attend?

    Students enrolled in fashion, textiles, footwear studies at a tertiary level may attend the Show. Students are not required to register.

    Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the event in order to bring class groups to the Show. Email info@iecgroup.com.au

    Student badges are issued onsite from the Visitor Registration desk.

  • Are child minding facilities available?

    No. These facilities are not available at the venue. As this is a business event children are not permitted entry.

  • Where is the Footwear & Leather Show being held?

    The Show will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

  • How do I get to the venue?

    The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is centrally located and well serviced by public transport.

    Please check the MCEC website for information about getting there, parking and public transport.

     

  • Do I need a visa to visit Australia?

    Most international visitors to Australia will require a visa to enter the country. For Government details on visas visit the Australian Government Immigration site at www.border.gov.au.

    Remember that if you need to make a visa Application ensure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.

    The Organiser does not provide assistance with visa applications for international visitors to the Show. International visitors are welcome to attend but should ensure that they are pre-registered and have relevant supporting business credentials with them at all times during the show. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or withdraw entry at any time and will not be held liable for any matters relating to visas, expenses incurred or travel arrangements.

  • Can I exhibit at Footwear & Leather Show Australia?

    If you are an international manufacturer or exporter you may be eligible to exhibit at the expo.
